NFL Award Predictions

MVP: Aaron Rodgers – QB – Green Bay Packers

Rodgers is returning from injury at full strength, has an actual running game behind him for the first time in years, and Jimmy Graham as his new star target. With Rodgers leading the Packers back to the top of the NFC North, he fully earns his third league MVP trophy

Offensive Player of the Year: Deshaun Watson – QB – Houston Texans

Coming back from a torn ACL, a lot is expected from Watson. I think he’s the kind of player that loves the pressure, and with DeAndre Hopkins as a #1 target, he’ll thrive in it.

Defensive Player of the Year: Joey Bosa – DE – Los Angeles Chargers

Bosa has had double digit sacks his first two years in the league. This year, I think he will lead the NFL in sacks as part of a potential top three Chargers defense, which will win him this award.

Coach of the Year: Bill O’Brien – Houston Texans

It’s a make or break year for O’Brien, but with everyone back healthy, I think the Texans come back to win the AFC North.

Offensive Rookie of the Year: Saquon Barkley – RB – New York Giants

The Giants had no run game last year, which was part of the demise of their offense. Taken #2 overall, Barkley helps transform the offense and gets the Giants back into playoff contention.

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Bradley Chubb – DE – Denver Broncos

Playing opposite of Von Miller, Chubb will have plenty of single blocks on his side of the ball, meaning lots of sack opportunities. Put that along with the weak offensive lines in his division, he could wreak havoc.

Comeback Player of the Year: Deshaun Watson – QB – Houston Texans
